Waterproof your bag the backpacker way

7.jpg

Not many of us actually invest in waterproof bags as we don’t anticipate the need to be as often. However, if one day you and your friends do decide to go backpacking and you have to pass a wet terrain, here are some tips in packing to keep your stuff dry and crisp.

- Divide your things into little groups of load (underwear, shirts, toiletries, etc). Place each load into small plastic bags and seal them carefully (tie it or however). As you seal each bag, let out all the excess air inside.

- Place a trash bag inside your backpack and put all the other small plastic bags inside it. To seal, tie it twice after letting out the excess air.

- For little stuff like money, mobile phone, mp3 player and the like, put them in a ziplock plastic and place them in the outer pockets for easy access.
